There are moments in sports that remind us the game isn’t just about competition, it’s about connection.
Over the weekend, a group of players, executives and board members from Accra Majestics came together to visit one of our own, Elorm Bayitse, who recently underwent knee surgery. The visit wasn’t just a formality. It was a gesture of love, unity and of standing beside a teammate when it matters most.
We didn’t come empty-handed. With contributions pooled from across the team and leadership, we donated essential items to support Elorm during his recovery. It may have been a small gesture, but it carried with it the full weight of our care, respect, and belief in his strength.
Elorm’s mother received us with warmth and open arms. In a quiet but moving moment, she shared a few words of appreciation, words that reminded us just how much a simple act of kindness can mean to a family navigating recovery. Her gratitude was deeply felt and will stay with us long after the visit.
For many of us, this experience was a powerful reminder that being part of Accra Majestics goes far beyond training sessions and match days. It’s about being present for each other through highs and lows, victories and setbacks.
To Elorm; we’re with you. This road to recovery may not be easy, but you’re not walking it alone. You’ve got an entire team behind you, cheering you on, and waiting to see you back doing what you love.
And to everyone who contributed or showed up, thank you for leading with heart. That’s what makes us Majestics.
